Since it’s the summer of being home, your kids will love these 25 ways to have fun in their own backyard. A summer of fun awaits!
This is a sponsored post. Thanks for supporting Project Motherhood!
With so many vacations being canceled and postponed, this really is the summer on being home in your own backyard with close family and friends due to COVID-19. It’s still important that we practice social distancing, but I don’t want to sacrifice time in the sun on our own property and in our neighborhood – and I don’t recommend that you do either.
And if you are like me and sick of hearing the “I’m bored” whines all day (seriously, Blake already does it at age 3.5), you will want to print this list of 25 ways for kids to have fun in their own back yard and tape it to the fridge. There’s so much fun to be had! (And ahem…when the kids are busy that means a little bit more free time for mom!)
However, if we’re going to be out in the sunshine all day long, we want to make sure that we have our sunscreen handy. If you’ve been following along these last few months, you know how obsessed with are with Project Sunscreen. This amazing, mom-owned, chemical-free sunscreen makes applying and re-applying for hours of fun in the sun a breeze.
I’ll be honest: up until a few months ago whenever we first discovered Project Sunscreen, the kids wanted nothing to do with the stuff. I know how important it was to apply, they kind of understood, but the process of applying it was a nightmare. You guys know how important choosing clean ingredients are to me, however, the ease factor alone makes Project Sunscreen a total mom win in my eyes! (Keep scrolling for a giveaway!)
