We all know that spring is all about COLOR! It’s that time of year whenever everything is finally starting to blossom, and (especially after this harsh winter) we could all use some pops of color in our daily beauty routine. Personally, I have always been a little hesitant of bright lips, staying in my comfort zone with light rose tones and nude glosses, but I decided that it was finally time to change my ways. This year, I have gone bold with my lip color choices… keeping it fun and playful for spring!

1. This lip color called NARS Lipstick Schiap is the one that called out my name this season and haunted my dreams until I made the purchase! It is a very bold bright pink, and you might think that it will never look right on you, but I urge you to try it. It’s great because it looks wonderful on so many different skin tones with its matte appeal, but you can simply add a clear gloss (like the one below), to make it a lighter glossy look. I usually go with the gloss during the day and then make it a bold matte lip at night!
2. One of the biggest trends on spring runways was a berry lip, and this Butter London Lippy Liquid Lipstick (Queen Vic) pretty much sums up that entire trend in one tube! This is great because it’s a gloss that will really go on as deep as a lipstick, yet it’s still light. And who could resist some plump berry lips?!

I know that it sounds a bit out there, but don’t knock it until you try it, because it looks great on many different skin tones and really is a fun color!
