Happy shopping Friday!

Today we talk maxi dresses! This is a style that I was hesitant to try for a while, to be completely honest with you, because I’m so short. But, I have grown to love the way that these dresses are so EASY and make getting ready for the day simple. Whenever you are wearing a maxi dress, there is no need to worry about matching pieces or  the way your pants feel too tight. Each style just flows and is beyond comfortable!

Maxi Dresses Around The City

I worked with Kanji Photography to photograph these looks at Grand Central Station here in the city, where I often spend time walking through on the way to meetings or switching trains. It is gorgeous there and I couldn’t think of a better place to photograph these beautiful dresses!

What’s your favorite way to wear a maxi dress? Here are some of mine:

  • Throw a button down denim shirt over top and knot it.
  • Add a lightweight summer blazer.
  • Throw your favorite tee over top for some great layering and make it look like you are wearing a maxi skirt.
  • Add a skinny or chunky belt around your waist to bring in a fun pop of color!

Fashionably Yours,

Allison
