Happy Fashion Monday!
Oh happy day! This is one of my favorite posts of the entire year, every year! I love delving into the fall trends and dissecting what’s hot from the runways in our fall fashion guide! This year, we spiced things up a little bit and are talking our top 4 trends from the runway + how to get the look + where to shop! Ready…set…fall fashion guide 2014!
Knit on Knit
We all know just how much we love our over-sized sweaters, but this season, designers have taken things one step further and are featuring knits on knits. So for fall 2014, instead of pairing your favorite over-sized knits with leggings or skinny jeans, the trend is to be pairing them with scarves and heavy knit leggings.

Emerald Green Galore
Tis the color of the season! We saw this color march down the runways by so many different designers, making its mark in jackets, knits, leather–everything! Therefore, this season you will be right on trend by incorporating emerald green into your wardrobe through various pieces! I am planning on indulging in an amazing emerald green wool coat!

Plaid
Plaid is something that we always see hints of during this time of the year, but this year it is more dominant than ever! Tommy Hilfiger especially, sent pieces down the runway and showed us how to rock this trend on a daily basis! Don’t be afraid to mix and match your plaid, or even incorporate plaids on top of plaids–anything goes!

Colorful Furs
For seasons past, we have been seeing a lot of fur incorporated into runway collections and its not stopping not–just being taken one step further! This season, you will need to step it up a notch and upgrade your brown, white and black furs to colorful ones!

The Emerald Green trend. Green is my favorite color and it happens to be the color I look best in and own the most of. So this trend actually really works out well for me.

I’m excited about the knit on knit and plaid trends. I’m not a huge fan of emerald green but it would make a great scarf color or even over the knee socks to wear with my boots.

I’m extremely excited for the knit on knit trend! I actually own quite a bit and not only is it comfortable, it’s a very flattering look on many body types!! I think women radiate beauty when they feel more confident in what they are wearing and that’s so important! I also am a huge fan of the emerald green!! I have green eyes and dark hair and I love wearing deep greens!! So excited for the new fashion trends this fall!!! Now, if only I could get to Paris during fashion week, lol!!!
