I feel like I need to start off just by simply stating “Wow.” I can’t even begin to share with you how magical it is at Great Wolf Lodge, especially during the holidays! Branden has been yearning to get to a water park, but we just ran out of time this summer. So, whenever we had the chance to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains, I just about lost my mind with excitement to tell B the news.
We went with family friends of ours who are also the parents of one of B’s best buds, Matty – so double the fun – at least! Which reminds me to mention that if you are planning on going and sharing a room with another family, it is totally doable in their wonderful roomy suites where your whole gang will be very comfortable.
It was a great experience to give these boys a bit of freedom, since they are 7, but the water park also has a big area for toddlers, too. (And even an adult hot tub that overlooks a kids hot tub – Perfection? I think yes!) These slides had them giggling for hours!
And nothing compares to the excitement of walking from one end of the huge indoor park to the other with the chance of getting a gigantic bucket of water splashing down on ya to dance in!
BUT, the Great Wolf Lodge is so much more than just a water park! It was completely decorated in our room – the gorgeous Snowland Suite – and even had milk and cookies delivered in the evening. Santa even made a grand entrance during our stay, with the option to sit on his lap for pictures. They had a mailbox where kiddos could drop of their letters for Santa, activities going all day long, plus their lobby was the mirror image of a winter wonderland. They also have a kids spa, an adult spa, and many restaurants (and bars!) throughout the resort – so you truly never want to leave!
We made sure to grab a family picture while we sat beneath their grand fire place, warming our buns after a day of winter swimming – and tons of fun!
GIGANTIC thanks to Great Wolf Lodge for this amazing experience! We can’t wait to go back! If you are looking to plan a trip for you and your family, click here for more details and some pretty sweet deals!
Fashionably Yours,
Allison

We went to Great Wolf Lodge earlier this year for the first time and my kids are still talking about it. They absolutely loved going! I think next time like you we’ll go with friends. It would be fun to enjoy it together.

We have yet to visit a Great Wolf Lodge, but they look wonderful. I know my boys would love visiting the water park, too.

Great Wolf Lodge was a favorite destination for my kids when they were little. It was hard to drag them away from the water, but once we did, they couldn’t get enough of the story time. My kids are grown now, but a couple year ago my husband and I took my niece and nephew. They’re hooked now too!
