Truth: we’ve been working through some issues with Branden lately at home. First and foremost, essential oils are safe to use around kids as long as you take precautions. I wrote all about this the first week in September whenever I shared the details of their September Box. All of the oils in the box are kid safe, but I also included a few tips in the post for ensuring you’re being safe while using them. I had already planned to share a tutorial for essential oil diffuser bracelets for kids, but this month’s box also came with one ready to go inside. First, what is an essential oil diffuser bracelet?

It is simply a bracelet with beads on a string, like a normal bracelet, except a few of the beads are made of clay. As your child goes about their day, whichever oil you chose to drop into the clay beads will vibrate based on their own personal vibrations and movements and diffuse into their wrist. So for Branden, we try to use a calming blend that features lavender to de-stress him and orange, which helps to boost his overall morale.

How to make the easiest essential oil diffuser bracelet for kids

I promise that you only need a few key items and your favorite essential oils to make these essential oil diffuser bracelets for kids. I don’t recommend them for toddlers because of the beads. I know Blake keeps trying to get into Branden’s because she wants everything that he has, but really try to keep them away until your kiddos are old enough to use them properly – or not to eat the beads lol!

What you need to make these essential oil diffuser bracelets:

String
Scissors
Beads of your choosing
A couple of clay beads
Your favorite essential oils

All you have to do to make this bracelet is string the beads on in any order of your choosing, this is where kids get to be creative! Once you’re done and have tied the essential oil diffuser bracelet to their wrist, you simply drop a few drops of your favorite oils into each of the clay beads and they are all set! You don’t need to add oil too often, but only whenever you can’t smell the fragrance anymore. Enjoy!
