How to Use Essential Oils For Gut Health
I can’t sing the praises of essential oils for gut health enough. Honestly. I think I talk about gut health a ton here because that’s really where a lot of problems start in our bodies. If we’re not drinking water regularly and ya know…being regular in general, it can cause us to not only feel bloated and baked up, but it impacts our entire body. I know I’ve shared this story before, but for a long time, I completely ignored my gut health. I wasn’t taking probiotics or using essential oils for gut health. I did, however, drink a ton of water and work out regularly like I still do, but for me – that’s just not enough. I do take probiotics every single day without fail now, run at least 4 days a week and get my daily servings of tons of veggies, but I still need to make sure that I have essential oils worked into the mix. If you are struggling with irregularity, I highly recommend giving these oils a try.
But first, how to do you actually use essential oils for gut health?
Some people will ingest oils and I just don’t recommend that. They are medicinal and unless you are 100% certain what you are taking won’t harm you in any way, I always say to use essential oils one of 3 ways: diffusing, topically and inhailing them. Whenever it comes to using essential oils for gut health you want to topically apply the oils on the area that they need to do their job. In this case, that would be your stomach. Pair the oils with a carrier oil, and that mixture will quite literally carry the oil to the part of your body where they need to do your job. And keep in mind: just like when using any other essential oils with a purpose, make sure that you make this a daily habit, just like taking a probiotic. You may or may not notice a change overnight, but you will definitely notice a change whenever it’s something you do everyday.
