It’s been a long time since I’ve had to deal with school dropoff. Whenever we lived in New York City, I walked Branden to and from school during kindergarten and first grade and then they moved buildings and I only had to walk him to the bus stop. The past couple of years, all I did was wave to Branden as he ran to the bus in the morning while wearing my pajamas and standing in the living room.

This year will be different.

Blake starts pre-school and though it’s only a little over a mile from our home, we will be driving her back and forth each day…so I gotta look like I’m at least a little bit put together.

I plan on waking up extra early some mornings and getting my workout in before school starts, but some days I will just be washing my face and throwing clothes on while on the fly.
