Who said back to school routines were just for the kids? Here’s my healthy mom morning routine and favorite wellness drink that I swear by!

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: I’m a creature of habit and I thrive with a routine. It’s just the way I operate. I know that some people are the complete opposite, so if you just take one piece of advice from today’s post, let it be to do something healthy for yourself each morning. For me, I truly believe that the way I start my day helps me be a million times more effective at work and as a wife and mom then I would without it.
As I’m sure that many of your little ones have started school or are starting in the upcoming weeks and you are creating a new way to start the day for your household, I encourage you to find a healthy flow for yourself and your little ones that helps you live your best life.

My Mom Back to School Morning Routine
With two little ones attending two different school that have two different bus schedules and start times, plus a husband who is currently working the night shift, I have to be on top of my game. Mornings are all on me.
While the start of the day is my most productive time of the day, I have to make sure that I continually set myself up for success. Once the school year starts, my alarm goes off at 6am and that is when I get up, unless a little certain someone named Blake rises before me and sets that time back a bit. Since Branden is the first to leave the house, I focus on getting him up and situated for his 6:58am bus pickup.
Luckily, Blake loves to get up, get moving and out the door, so I don’t have to usher her along the way I do with her big bro. After waking him up, I run downstairs to immediately pour myself a large cup of black coffee with stevia to sweeten it and start chugging. Black coffee is rich in antioxidants and does wonderful things for your body beyond being just mom fuel.

While the coffee is brewing, this is the time I start mixing my morning drink that I have no name for, but is precious to me.

I simply fill up my beloved 32 ounce pink water bottle a little bit more than halfway with water, toss in a scoop or two of my favorite stevia sweetened electrolytes, add a tablespoon of my hormone balancing herbs, add Ameo Life Silver Solution, shake and start drinking.
