Wondering how to get kids to take their medicine? I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to help you navigate sick days in your home.

Is it just me or does it currently feel like the longest sick season ever? Germs seem to keep getting passed around from family member to family member and as soon as we all start to feel better, someone gets sick and the cycle begins again. From all the chatter with my mom friends, it seems like we’re definitely not the only ones navigating running to the pediatrician over and over again.
Up until this year, I rarely spent time taking the kids to the doctor and was always so thankful for that. I always joked that since our kids lived a significant part of their younger years in NYC riding the subway that their immune systems were as strong as the terminator. But that is no longer the case.
So, if you are feeling like me over here ( a little frazzled to always be sick and have sick kiddos who have taken a stand again taking their medicine), I have some tips to share with you today that will make your life easier!
How to Get Kids to Take Their Medicine
I’m really excited to introduce you all today to a brand called FlavorX that is seriously the most creative and delicious way to get your kids to actually drink their medicine – down to the last drop. Yes, I’m about to impart some parenting wisdom to you all: I have a “magic wand” that will take medicine time tantrums and struggle away.
FlavorX makes the medicine-time experience better for both
kids and parents by letting kids choose how they want their medicine to
taste at the pharmacy. (I know…my jaw dropped to the floor whenever I first heard that this was an option, too.)
Picky eater-approved, FlavorX comes in many different flavors, such as Mighty Mango, Blastin’ Bubblegum, and Giggly Grape, so you are sure to find something that your little ones are excited about tasting. But it’s not just something your kids will love, as it is healthy mom-approved, too, being sugar-free, gluten-free, dye-free, and casein-free.
How does FlavorX work?
It’s so simple you will be wondering how you ever lived your life without it before! All you have to do is request which flavor you want whenever you are dropping off your child’s prescription at your local pharmacy (ours is CVS). The flavors do vary based on what type of medicine your child is prescribed, so I suggest letting them be involved in choosing the flavor to give them a little bit more control over the whole process. A stress-free medicine experience is waiting for you!
