Baby Registry Must Haves
I’m not sure if it’s the second time around mom thing or the fact that we live in a small New York City apartment, but I recognized really quick that there were certain items we actually needed right away for baby and others that would just take up space until she was ready for them. There are the necessities and then the things that everyone tells you that you need when you really don’t, right? Yes! There are items (such as a high-chair) that I won’t be buying until we need one, but these baby registry must haves below are musts from the beginning – and you can win them all for yourself! (Keep scrolling!)
Baby registry must haves you’ll actually be happy you registered for!
1. Mamas, trust me on this one – you want to keep dirty diaper separate right from the start and in a place that will get rid of the stink! This Ubbiworld diaper pail is not only super cute in design, small enough not to take up a huge amount of space, but maximizes odor control with it’s powder-coated steel technology. You can use regular trash bags or a cloth liner and get this – it features a child-proof lock so any of your other kiddos can’t get inside! Genius!
2. There is no other way to describe the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat other than amazing! I had the opportunity to actually meet with Graco and see this before if first launched and I was floored, there are so many wonderful features like taking baby from both rear to front facing and 4-100 pounds – it’s the only car seat you will ever need throughout your child’s life. Here’s my full review here!
3. I use swaddles for everything from changing diapers on to cleaning up messes, and of course -swaddling! These Aden and anais swaddles are simply the best! They are light, breathable and I have bought them in mass quantities in preparation for this little girl. Their 10th Anniversary pack is limited edition and super swoon-worthy! Here’s my full review of these amazing swaddles here!
4. I rave about Shoosha products all the time, so naturally I would have them on this list. They have everything for mom & baby, but since we are just talking baby today the Shoosha Baby Body Wash and Massage Oil are baby registry MUST HAVES to have ready to cleanse and bond with baby as soon as you get home from the hospital. And each product is food grade organic, so it’s delicate for their new skin. I have a full review and guide to eliminate stretch marks with their oils here as well as why it’s so important to learn about their food grade organic ingredients here.
5.This Skip Hop Moby Smart Sling™ 3-Stage Baby Tub takes the super simple one we had for B to an entire new level! It can be used right from the beginning and grows with baby so you know they will always be safe. It features their Mesh Smart Sling™, which locks into two ergonomic positions and supports babies learning to sit. Paired with the Warm-Up Bath Cozy, which isn’t your average wash cloth (it’s patch turns white when temperature is 93° F or higher, then starts changing to blue when temperature falls below 93° F) – they are a winning duo.
6. I love a great gift set and I love MAM bottles so the MAM Bottle Gift Set for newborns is on my must list! Everything that they produce brings together technology, modern design, and the medical function to create products that are loved by moms everywhere. These bottles are known for being a great transition between bottle and breast, too – so that’s a major bonus!
I do think that people tend to go overboard whenever it comes to registering for their new little one and these baby registry must haves are the crucial basics. There’s nothing like having tons of stuff for you little one and realizing that you never really needed it to begin with. I hope you love these baby registry must haves as much as I do!
Fashionably Yours,
Allison
