Cool Mom Style – Emeralds and Prints

I’ve probably spent a good portion of my life veering away from mixing prints, patterns, and any bold colors, out of fear alone. Will I look dumb? Will everything go together? Will it be cool or will I look like a clown? It can be difficult sometimes to step outside of your fashion comfort zone, but I can honestly say that it can be well worth it in the end. Today, I’m sharing one of my current favorite combinations: emeralds and prints!

These are some of my absolute favorite pieces, and I decided to throw them all together for a fun day at the beach, showing that you CAN make an awesome patterned pair of pants a staple in your wardrobe that will become a go-to, just like your favorite denim!

Nothing like doing a little rock climbing in booties with a heel to make everyone walking this glorious nature trail turn and stare!

An easy tip to make sure that you have styled a pattern-mixing look properly is to throw in something solid colored, even if it has a little embellishment (like my booties).

They even monogram this clutch for you (it comes in a TON of different colors). I actually was connected with Gigi New York a couple years ago at a New York Fashion Week event where I got to meet the couple that started this company from the ground up – and they monogrammed my clutch for me themselves!

And you can’t have a complete jewelry box without a few pairs of button earring! This pair in this gorgeous jewel tone makes me happy every time I wear them, and you can seriously pair them with everything!
