If you’ve never had keto broccoli salad, you are missing out! I always tell people that broccoli salad is a Pittsburgh staple and one of my favorite food memories from parties and family gatherings growing up, so it only makes sense that it would be something I long for as an adult, too. This is a great side dish to bring to picnics, but lately, I have been making a large batch of it and keeping it in the refrigerator to serve alongside a protein for my lunch.

There’s nothing quite like looking forward to mealtime and any chance I have to share an easy recipe, you can count on me for doing so!
Easy Keto Broccoli Salad Recipe
This super easy keto broccoli salad is refreshing and the perfect mix of sweet and savory that makes mealtime extra special on the keto diet! With only 7 ingredients, most of them being things that you most likely already have in your pantry while on the keto diet, you can make this in no time and enjoy it for lunch today.
What you need to make this keto broccoli salad recipe:
- 8 cups of fresh broccoli
- 1/2 cup of red onion (or more or less if you love it or dislike it)
- 6 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup of mayo
- 2-3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 5 tablespoons of your favorite keto-friendly sweetener (this is what I use)
- 1 package of bacon (I use thick sliced)

Step one: Get your bacon cooking on the stove and then start chopping all those veggies! I find that if I do things in this order, I get the whole salad made a lot quicker.
Step two: Add the veggies to a large bowl along with your mayo, swerve, apple cider vinegar, and spices for the dressing. I wait to mix everything together until the bacon is cooked, chopped, and then thrown in the bowl with everything else.
Step three: Mix everything together and refrigerate for an hour before serving!
