I can’t even begin to express how easy to make this keto Caprese chicken is and how much your family will love the flavors in their mouth. This easy keto chicken recipe will take so much guesswork out of dinner and quickly become a staple in your home.
What do I serve with this keto Caprese chicken?
Good question!
Some of my favorites for this one are zoodles or cauliflower rice, which you can throw pasta sauce over and sprinkle with some parmesan cheese. This Low Carb Spaghetti Zoodles Recipe or basic Cauliflower Rice recipes are great options!
The kids like to have pasta on the side, so I opt out of that for myself and choose something low carb instead. What makes this even easier is that since it uses fresh tomatoes on top, you can slice them generously and not worry about having to make another veggie. Easy dinners are my favorite!

What you need for this easy keto chicken breast recipes:
- Chicken breasts (How ever many you would like. I typically make about 4 so that we have leftovers.)
- Fresh mozzarella cheese
- fresh tomatoes
- fresh basil
- Seasonings: garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasonings
How to make this Keto Caprese Chicken
Step one: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Slice your chicken breast and tomatoes in half lengthwise, and chop that fresh basil.
Step two: Season your chicken breasts on both sides, cook for 30-40 minutes until there is no pink in the center.
Step three: Remove from the oven, layer on the tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. Switch your oven to broil and eyeball the chicken until the tomatoes are cooked and the cheese is getting brown.
Step four: Remove from the oven, let it cool for about 10 minutes and then sprinkle with fresh basil and enjoy!
