A couple weeks ago as you all know, I had the pleasure of working with Kohl’s, designer Peter Som, and Kate Dimmock from People StyleWatch in the first ever shoppable Google Hangout that promoted the Peter Som For Kohls Collection. I had such a great time chatting about the collection and featuring different ways that I would style the collection for different events and situations.

Being the city girl that I am and since my family stayed in the city over spring break, I featured my favorite pieces from the collection and showed you all how I translate the St. Barth’s inspired pieces to my busy city life. And, as usual, my wonderful friends over at Kanji Photography captured all of these awesome images!
Hanging out at the beautiful fountain in Union Square where my family and I spend lots of time shopping a the Green Market, taking Branden to the playground and shopping and eating at the surrounding stores.
One of my ultimate favorite places to spend time in the city is at The Strand Bookstore shopping for new, used, and rare books to add to our book shelves at home. They have a great children’s section where the kiddos could hang out for hours and read new stories, and as you can see I love perusing the fashion section.
Lastly, the cobblestone streets of SoHo are great for taking pictures and of course…shopping!
