How to Get More Energy and Find Balance in Life
I was the girl in high school who wouldn’t sit and chat at a friend’s house unless I could use a couch or bed pillow to sit and cover my stomach. At school I used my books. Yes, I was that insecure. I never felt confident or comfortable being me because I never loved my body. UGH. That’s a horrible thing to type, but it’s true. I ran and did ballet and pointe and jazz classes all the way through my senior year and ate extremely healthy – but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t lose the weight that I wanted – specifically my midsection.
