1. LEGO Boost Creative Toolbox
I was introduced to this cool toy at an event in the fall and I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome it is in person. It truly takes LEGO to a whole new level where kids can actually design their own robot and control it – this will keep them busy for hours while teaching them so many rewarding computer skills!
2. Cranium Game
This is great family fun and let’s face it: anything to get them away from their video games at this age is pure gold!
3. Big Book of HOW
I’m not sure about you all, but Branden has so many questions every single day and I don’t always have the answers. This book will help them entertain all their curiosities about the world with the right answers. The perfect addition to your book shelf.
4. Razor A5 Lux Scooter
This comes in so many different colors, so you can choose your kiddos favorite, but it’s a really inexpensive way to get them outside playing. It’s built for the taller riders in this age range, folds up to store and is truly the next generation of cool when it comes to Razor scooters.
5. Seedling Design Your Own Headphones Activity Kit
Kids at this age seem to start not only loving music, but really forming an opinion about their favorite artists. It’s fun to watch as a parent! This kit allows them to literally build their own headphones, so they get to see how it all works, and then enjoy their favorite tunes.
6. Garmin Vivofit JR.
Our kids learn from us, so if we’re getting our steps in with our favorite fitness tracker, you can bet they want to do the same. This one will get your kids up and movie, but is specifically designed for this age range – so no worries about it being too complicated!
7. Poke Ball Full-View PRO Binder for Pokémon
This was honestly the first thing I ordered for Branden this year. So. Many. Pokemon cards. Maybe this gift will be more for your organizational sanity than theirs, but it’s a cool way to keep them organized and showcase their collection.
8. National Geographic Break Open 10 Geodes and Explore Crystals Science Kit
We have been loving all the different kits that National Geographic offers for this age range and they are especially cool for chilly days indoors. I always open learning opportunities and with these they don’t even realize that that its completely expanding their mind along the way.
9. R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid
For all the Star Wars lovers: this cool droid is connected through Bluetooth to an app you download and can easily be commended by your child. With Holographic Simulation your kiddos can explore the Star Wars universe in the coolest way possible.

10. Nintendo Switch Bundle
This is one of those gifts that’s topping pretty much every child’s list out there. It’s certainly the most expensive gift out of all my guides, but you’ll probably win best parent of the year award if you score one. The bundle includes a Switch console, Switch dock, Joy-Con (L) and Joy-Con (R), 2 Joy-Con strap accessories, 1 Joy-Con grip, AC adapter, HDMI cable. 128GB SD Cardr, Game Disc Splatoon 2, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Splatoon 2 Edition, Type C Cable, and HDMI Cable – so you’re fully covered with everything you need to name your gaming kid’s dreams come true!
11. Puro Sound Labs Premium Kids Headphones
These headphones are specifically made for kids, because their focus is on healthy volumes – meaning that your kiddos can’t use these and destroy their hearing. With up to 18 hours of wireless battery life, they will enjoy these for literally hours and hours.
12. Fashion Press Paper Fashion Maker Deluxe Activity Kit
When I was little, I LOVED designing clothes and being creative. This kit takes that love to a whole new level as there is no cutting involved, just designing. It’s perfect for travel and endless hours of fun – away from a screen!
