I’m going to be honest here: Blake wrote her holiday wishlist back in September. The magic and excitement is so real for the little ones in our lives, which makes it even more important to stress giving back each year. Each time she brings up holiday gifts, I give her a gentile reminder that there are children in need all over, sometimes right in our very own community. Doing our part to help in some way has become a holiday tradition that I am very proud of. 

All year long, we have special donations that we make, but around the holidays I try to be extra giving and instill that in the kids, too. However, I know that times are tough for many, so I wanted to share an easy way you can give back in the most effortless way possible, as Zulily has teamed up with Toys For Tots to create some Christmas spirit that you can be a part of!

Giving Back This Season

During the month of November, for every purchase of 2 items from the same order or more from Zulily’s Santa’s Workshop, which features toys and games across every category, Zulily will make a $1 donation to Toys for Tots to help less fortunate children throughout the country experience the joy of Christmas.

A Little Bit About Toys For Tots

If you are unfamiliar with the organization Toys For Tots, it’s wonderful! They work year-round (tranlation: you can donate at anytime, not just during the holidays), to make sure that all children get to experienc the magic of Christmas each year. It’s such a heart-warming way to help children in need through eithe rmonetary or toy donations. 

Every child deserves to wake up on Christmas morning and feel the magic of Santa Claus as they wrip through wrapping paper to see what he left them. I can’t imagine our kids not having those memories and experiences and if I can be a part of making the holiday’s a little bit brighter for a child in need, I want to do everything in my power to do so.
