There’s more to think about when it comes to our daily water intake than just getting in those 8 glasses a day.

Water is a truly magical liquid. No seriously. Our bodies, the world we live in – everything – is made up of mostly water and it helps everything work together and thrive the way our universe intended for it to.
My husband is in the Army, and we used to joke because water was the military’s answers for everything. Your foot hurts? Drink water? You pulled a muscle? Drink water? You’re nauseous? Drink water. You couldn’t really get a pass out of doing anything unless you had been chugging some ice cold water for a good long while and then (and only then), would they let you see the medic. But as I get older, I understand where they were coming from and it’s nothing to joke about, it’s just facts.
And then I find myself saying the same exact thing to my kids now, too. You have a headache? Drink water. You have a stomach ache? Drink water. And they are so used to being able to open up our refrigerator and pour themselves a glass anytime they want one, thanks to our friends at ZeroWater and their amazing pitchers and filtration systems that are called “zero” because they legit leave 000 dissolved solids left behind. The water is incredibly pure tasting, and is the only filter certified by the NSF to reduce both lead and chromium.
What’s different about their filters? Each ZeroWater filter uses a 5 stages system, versus the standard 2 stage system, and this is most definitely not the first time that I have sung their praises, as we use their on the go filters, too.
But, it goes even deeper than that. Due to an aging infrastructure, the US is currently in a water crisis as new areas are popping up daily with reports of water contamination. Lead, Arsenic, Radium, PFOAS… do your homework and you will see what’s being reported and how scary that actually is. With August being Water Quality Awareness, I’m so happy to partner with ZeroWater to spread this message and make sure that families are making the absolute best choices they can with better information.
And we all know that I talk about health a lot and ways to make living a healthier lifestyle sustainable, and it honestly starts with what you are putting into your body. It’s important for me and my family to drink high quality water. ZeroWater gives me the confidence I need when I am looking for the best source of hydration not only for myself, but for my family. Knowing that we are consuming the purest tasting water, virtually free of all dissolved solids, makes ZeroWater the easy choice before running, after school, and every hour in between.

We so need this in my home. It looks easy to manage which is really what I need right now as a busy mom!

It’s so easy to manage and even comes with a device so that you can test the water so you know when its time to change the filter!

We are lucky that our kids prefer water and are so much better about drinking it than we are. I am a former soda addict! I will look for Zero Water Filters, we have a filtration system in our fridge, but to have with on the go bottles would be smart.

You will be able to take the difference instantly! I found that in NYC, these on the go tumblers were particularly great for filling up at all the water fountains.

I love water and drink it all day long. And my teen does as well, he says it is great for clear skin! I am going to look into this 5 stage filter system, I agree that not enough is being done to ensure the safety of our water supply!

Right? It’s kind of crazy how bad things are in this country with the water system (among so many other things). And I agree with your son – water is my answer to everything!
