It’s spring in NYC – well, sort of! The snow stopped for a few days last week, and the sun peaked through just long enough for us to put together our latest kid style feature with PS From Aeropostale and get the fun shots in today’s post. This weekend was more on the rainy side, so I stayed inside cleaning and teaching myself to edit videos (If you haven’t already signed up, check out our Youtube channel – we will be uploading out first beauty tutorial this week!). But with the transition from snow to rain, I can feel that glow of springtime in NYC awakening and ready to burst inside of me! Yippee!
This week for me is all about encouragement, getting you lovely Mamas to go to your closet and pull out something bright and bold to wear in celebration of spring’s arrival. Even if it is dark and dreary where you live, mix your brights with your neutrals and get ready to transition into some warmer weather! Check out my outfit details below for a little color inspiration.
Silk shirt + skirt have been closet staples of mine for a while. For newer versions, here are some similar pieces:

The Giveaway
To celebrate the arrival of spring here in NYC and the need for the perfect transitional items in our wardrobe, we partnered with Borelli, providing beautiful scarves for women, men, and kids that are perfect for year round use. I’m personally a HUGE fan of Borelli and layering with scarves. Today, we are giving away double the cuteness, featuring their adorable Mommy & Me collection.
One lucky winner will walk away with these matching Calypso scarves and get to play “matchy-matchy” with your mini me this spring! The giveaway starts today and our winner will be chosen on Tuesday March 24th!
