Keto Smoothie Recipe: Berry Avocado
Chris started a new job a little over a month ago and the hours are INTENSE. So you know…in our effort to keep things balanced between that and all of our regular parenting duties, you could say that I’m learning how to move at lightning speed these days. As you all know, I’ve gone back to the keto diet after taking some time off around the holidays (and beyond, if we’re being honest here), but now that I’m back at it – I’m all in. Because my days are often too rushed to stop and prepare a big meal, I’ve been loving this keto smoothie recipe that has loads of healthy fat from avocados, the sweetness of berries and some protein from a secret ingredient. I hope that you love this keto smoothie recipe as much as I do!
Berry Avocado Keto Smoothie Recipe
One of the reasons I love this keto smoothie recipe so much is that not only does it taste amazing and feel like I’m eating a treat, but if is made with only 5 ingredients. It’s a wonderful meal replacement when you just don’t have the time for anything else.
What you need to make this keto smoothie recipe:
- 1 pound frozen berry mixture of your choice
- 1 large, ripe avocado
- 1 and a half cups unsweetened almond milk
- 4 tbsp all natural peanut butter (no sugar added!)
- 1/4 cup of the sugar free sweetener of your choice
Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth and pour into cups and enjoy!

Storing this keto smoothie recipe
Since this recipe makes 5 (1 cup) servings, I highlight recommend having a fresh glass whenever you make them and then package the remainder into small sandwich sized ziploc bags and throwing them in your freezer. Smoothies won’t last long at all if you store them in the refrigerator, but freezing them individually and taking them out as needed will save you even more time on busy days!

Alternative to peanut butter and almond milk?
Allison Cooper says
You can always use almond or cashew butter and any dairy option that you like to replace the almond milk!
