As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to notice the amount of beauty products piling up on my nightstand. And I’ve started spending more and more time starring into the mirror, wondering why my skin hasn’t just gotten easier to take care of instead of harder. In high school, the battle was with acne and oil, and now it is still with oil, but now I’m trying to take preventative measures against aging! It is a constant battle with our beauty routine to keep us looking young and moisturized, until I stumbled upon what became my secret weapon…facial oils!
Why are facial oils my beauty secret?
Whether you have oily skin or not, facial oils are a great way to literally make your skin radiant. They are great for oily skin because in reality, you need to be fighting oil with oil in order to get rid of it. Since adding facial oils to my beauty regimen, I have ELIMINATED EVERY oil reducing product that I ever used before…AMAZING!
In addition, it helps keep your skin moisturized and supple, fights acne scars, and absorbs a whole lot quicker than you could ever imagine! They are really an easy product to work into your beauty routine that will help your skin in the long run, while also being a quick fix for current beauty problems.
My favorite facial oils:
I’ve tried out a few different facial oils, but I have narrowed it down to two different kinds that I like the best.
This facial oil is great for the winter months or whenever your skin is extra dry. It smells fresh and light, is 100% organic, and I use it on my hands as well for extra moisture!
This one is my ultimate fav…especially since I have SUPER oily skin. It does come in a regular version as well, but the light is recommended for extra oily skin to still get the benefits of an oil. It absorbs quickly, and can be used allover your body, even on your hair! I also know of people who use it on their kids as well, so its safe on their precious skin. Do you use facial oils? Which is your favorite? If you’re looking for some ways to save time with your beauty care in the morning, here’s some great products to try, too.
