Fashion is a beautiful thing, and there are some pieces that I treat like art, because to me – they belong in a museum! These aren’t the trendy pieces that you need to switch up season after season, but the life-changing pieces that become the precious garments and accessories that you keep perfectly stored and tenderly pull out of your closet on special occasions. These are the pieces that we lust for, save for, and plan to keep in great condition to pass down to our daughters. Here is my humorous approach to the pieces that top my list.
My Fashion Bucket List
On my fashion bucket list before I die,
There are some things I simply MUST have by my side.
A Harry Winston Lily Cluster Diamond Pendant to start,
Oh, how that would be held dear to my heart!
A classic Chanel Tweed Suit would be pretty swell,
The way that it’s cut would compliment my figure quite well.
Some shoes from the best,
Mr. Blahnik and Mr. Louboutin.
(I have to admit,
Their designs really turn me on!)
A Burberry trench and a Cartier watch,
When it’s raining and I’m running late,
These must-haves fill my thoughts!
Dear Diary,
Can you bump me to the top of the Hermes Birkin bag waiting list?
I would love one in red.
Can you please fulfill my wish?
A DVF wrap dress is calling my name.
Without it,
My closet looks pretty lame.
My very last request
Is for a Louis Vuitton,
An Artsy GM bag.
To my hubby,
Will you buy me just one?
My fashion bucket list has now come to an end,
Throughout my lifetime,
Lots of money my hubby will spend!
