Since I became a Beautycounter consultant at the end of last year, I’ve really immersed myself in everything beauty related and have really been paying a lot of attention to all the new beauty trends for 2020. It’s important to me that I’m able to hone in on what’s trending so that I can make the best recommendations for my clients, and also share these emerging new beauty trends with all of you. Now I’m sure you can google “new beauty trends for 2020” and you will get list after list after list, but so many of the new beauty trends listed are straight from the runways and just not conducive to everyday life – no matter how cool they really are. So my list is really much more practical than others you may read, while still staying very much on trend.

New Beauty Trends for 2020 You’ll Want to Try ASAP
Okay beauty lovers, here we go!
Bold red lips. Yup, movie star lips are making a come back. And honestly, you really can’t go wrong with a bold red lip. Personally, if I’m going to rock a bold lip, I got a bit lighter everywhere else and might not even do too much with my eyes to balance everything else out. I think it’s all about balance when it comes to a great allover makeup application.
Try: Beautycounter Red Color Intense Lipstick
A dewey glow. It’s funny how things change. Whenever I was growing up, everyone was all about matte everything and removing excess oil as much as we possibly could (who remembers those trendy oil blotting sheets? Me!). Now everything is all about being moisturized, hydrated and dewey – and I’m here for it.
Try: Illuminating Cream Highlighter and Glow Shimmer Oil
More clean beauty. You guys know how important this one is for me and it makes me so happy that so many beauty brands are taking note of how important clean beauty really is to the masses. It should really be the rule, not the exception.

Products that are recyclable. I love this new beauty trend, too. It’s amazing how things like recyclable products are really starting to shift where people are spending their money. Our buying power gives us a voice in changing the climate of the beauty industry and choosing products that are recyclable is a wonderful way to take part. Many people don’t know this, but recycling is a huge part of Beautycounter’s mission. We’ve partnered with How2Recycle, a labeling system that clearly communicates disposal instructions so you no longer have to play the guessing game every time you finish a product. Learn more about the partnership here.
Waterless beauty. The beauty industry is really becoming influenced by k-beauty trends are waterless beauty (ie. cleansing oil) is a huge part of that. There are so many amazing benefits of choosing waterless beauty that the results are instant. I honestly didn’t believe what an impact it would make until I tried is myself and I challenge you to do the same if you haven’t already.
Try: Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil
