Probiotics For Babies
It seriously felt like just yesterday we were bringing baby Blake home in her little baby carrier and now she is a babbling and scooting seven month old who desperately wants to be able to chase after her big brother. While I’m definitely not ready for that yet, one thing that has made a big change in her everyday life is the addition of solids to her diet. I will admit that I have completely been “that mom,” so excited to introduce her to new foods that I probably didn’t do it quite as gradual as I should have, resulting in some tummy troubles with our little one. Knowing what I know about probiotics and taking them every day myself, I was curious if probiotics for babies existed and low and behold I found the best thing for her.
Yes, probiotics for babies do exist!
As soon as I noticed our little one having an upset tummy, too much gas and overall digestive issues, I turned to Upspring Probiotic + Colostrum Powder before anything else. Call it a mamas intuition or not, but because probiotics have been the saving grace for my tummy issues, I knew that it would help soothe her problems as well.
Upspring Probiotic + Colostrum Powder helps to keep baby healthy through 5 billion active cultures per dose and 6 probiotic strains including Lactobacilillus and Bifidobacterium plus prebiotics. The colostrum provides complete range of antibodies for immune support and together this combination is something that I credit for our whole family rarely getting sick.
How to feed probiotics for babies
I found myself asking this question when I first started looking into probiotics for babies since I take mine in pill form every morning. Rest assured that these are first and foremost gluten free, sugar free, free of hormones and non GMO and are made in the USA. For ease of use, they come in easy to use, single serve packets. You simply mix them into juice (if the baby is a little older), or any liquid or baby food – and it’s completely flavorless. Baby won’t know the difference and you have peace of mind every single day.
So with the mixture of feeding Blake Upspring Probiotic + Colostrum Powder everyday and cutting back her solids from three times a day to one to two times per day (depending on if I’m introducing a new food or not), we’ve solved Blake’s tummy troubles and I honestly plan to keep the probiotics as a part of her daily routine with each passing year.
Have you ever tried probiotics for babies? I would love to hear about your experience!

Allison! How do you handle the cuteness overload? Baby Blake is adorable. Those cheeks 😍
Ok now that I got that out my system, this sounds like a great product for kids. I especially like that they are gluten free, sugar free and free of hormones.
Thanks for sharing. Will spread the word.

Oh, she is so cute!! I wish I had known about this when my oldest was a baby. Lots of tummy trouble back then. He would have been so much happier if his stomach didn’t bother him.

Enjoying your posts…have one question, is this particular probiotics upspring also beneficial for older kids like 6?
