Rosy Winter Cheeks – Cream Blush To The Rescue!

We have all been there – those moments whenever you are leafing through the pages of your favorite magazine on a [seemingly] quiet Sunday afternoon, and we almost always stumble upon a beautiful model with the most perfectly rosy cheeks. Or those times whenever we come inside to our warm homes during the cold winter months and take a look in the mirror and see our rosy cheeks starring back at us. It is in those moments that we silently wish that we could get our cheeks to look like the model’s or stay rosy forever – no makeup required.

While I can’t promise you miracles, I can honestly say that I’ve found my answer for perfectly rosy winter cheeks in cream blush. We first spoke of our love for cream blush in our post “5 Time Saving Beauty Products,” and featured my current go-to: Stila Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream in Petunia, but more on that later!

Why We Love Cream Blush

The topic of cream blush was very prevalent among our editorial team as we threw around topics for the upcoming editorial calendar! One thing quickly became very clear – power blush is out, and cream blush is in!

It gives you a much more natural look. When choosing a blush, the goal is always to get a natural look, but that doesn’t always happen. Cream blush gives you more control and truly helps to achieve that “just came in from building a snowman” glow!
It stays in place – all day! No need for touch-ups whenever you are wearing a cream blush as they lay perfectly on the surface of your skin and stay there until you wash your face at night.
It’s blendable! Blush that is powdered can sometimes be difficult to blend, but cream blush takes the hassle out of that time suck while making yourself glamorous in the morning.
Cream blush really helps define your cheek bones. There is nothing like showing off those cheek bones and achieving a more slender appearance in your face! Seriously, suck your cheeks in and apply the cream blush right above your cheek bones, relax your pucker and you will love the new look!
