Valentine’s Day is obviously a special day for those in love, but what about the relationship that we have with ourselves? I’m a firm believer that if we aren’t feeling our best and doing the best we can for ourselves, then there’s no way that we can be the best mom and partner that those in our families need from us. You have to put on your oxygen mask first, right?
This is exactly why I put together this FREE PRINTABLE self love checklist for you all today. I want it to remind you just how special you are and that you deserve to take some time to invest in yourself, even whenever that might seem impossible.

I want to also make sure that I am being very real here: I totally get and feel that the words self care and self love can be highly overused today, they are actually buzzy words in my opinion. However, it doesn’t have to be an overcomplicated, time-consuming thing. I get that we are all busy moms with seriously limited time on our hands. I know that sometimes just zoning out and watching Bridgerton (omg my obsession is deep!) at the end of the day by yourself is a very real version of self care for moms. But I just want to stress how important it is to put some time (even if it’s just a few minutes here and there) into loving ourselves every day and always.
So what’s on my self love checklist? A little bit of everything! I promise that you will find something on this self love checklist printable that will resonate with you and even things you start to love that you never thought you would in the past.
On a more personal note, working out has and probably will always be a form of self love for me. If you follow along, you know that I’m on a weight loss journey and sharing all my tips with you guys along the way. Working out is something that I do just for me and makes me feel amazing.
Years ago, after I had Blake and I hired a health coach to get me through those tough postpartum months, she told me to actually talk to my body and tell it what I wanted from it. I know that sounds so ridiculous, but it does really help at the end of that day! Need some energy? As your body for it! The possibilities are endless!
