Yes, I know that today is technically “Motherhood Wednesday,” but in my eyes, it’s the start of glorious fall and sometimes Mama needs a drink! Now, I’m not much of a “do-it-yourselfer,” but I WISH that I were crafty in so many different ways. Instead, my creativity lies elsewhere.
Since we are moving into those months that are all about apples and pumpkins, I decided to take a drink recipe and give it a twist to deduct some calories…and <Drum Roll>… bring you all some Skinny Apple Cider Margaritas! This type of margarita will make you feel like going on a hay ride instead of laying on the beach!
What you need to make skinny apple cider margaritas:
- Cinnamon and sugar (To rim the glass if this interests you. We use ground cinnamon and organic coconut sugar.)
- Apple and/or cinnamon sticks for garnish
- Splash of Grand Marnier
- Splash and a half of tequila
- Ice
- 3-4 ounces of apple cider
Step 1: Rim your glass.
Step 2: Put all the ingredients into a shaker with lots of ice.
Step 3: Place a tiny piece of apple and/or cinnamon sticks in your glass.
Step 4: Pour the mixture in your glass
Step 5: Drink and enjoy!
What is your favorite drink to enjoy in the fall?
Fashionably Yours,
Allison
