What’s different about working with Project Motherhood? I am a writer (with published pieces regularly in Romper, Working Mother, What to Expect, Fit Pregnancy, Reader’s Digest and more!) with a marketing degree, so I apply a storytelling approach to working with brands so that my readers develop a personal connection with the product. I am also a little obsessed with SEO, so every blog post uses keyword research skills with the goal to rank in search engines. I write each post with the aim of longevity so there is continued traffic for years to come (versus just a big social media boost upon publication). I also truly believe in spending my time on the social platforms that bring the most ROI to my clients, which for me is Pinterest and Facebook.
Since we all know that most people aren’t persuaded to buy a product until they’ve seen it a few different places, a few different times, I changed the way I work with brands back in 2018 to develop a much more authentic approach. As a reader of blogs, too, there’s nothing worse than when a blogger jumps around from product to product, so each of the brands I work with collaborate in an ambassadorship capacity (packages starting at a 3 month contract) so that I’m able to organically feature the product by pairing it with well thought out messaging over a longer period of time.
