It’s no secret that we have a new baby due in August and I would say that it has been…ohh…about a good month since the nesting has really set in and I have been on a cleaning rampage in the Cooper home. My boys are silently (and sometimes not so silently) dealing with my madness, but it is in these moments that I am even more grateful that I have Procter & Gamble cleaning products at Costco as my secret weapon.
So here’s the thing – school is out TODAY! Yes, New York City schools get out a bit late, so our summer vacation officially begins. With Baby C being due on August 18th, that gives us about 6 good weeks of summer vacation before the newborn fun begins. I anticipate in those weeks to have 7 year old boys in and out of our apartment, trips to the park, zoo and beach, which all boils down to messes and smells that are going to mess with my nesting frenzy.
Don’t worry, this mama has it under control. Check out my video of what I’m predicting will go down, plus my favorite Procter and Gamble products from Costco that are mommy’s little helpers. (And how awesome is Costco by the way? We are planning a HUGE stock up trip before this little one’s arrival!)
3 Procter and Gamble Products to Help You Survive Summer
Being a work-from-home-mama means that summers are extra busy because I have to add all of these summer activities into my daily routine, which leads to me moving a lot of things around for work. This is all fine, because that’s exactly why I work from home, but the last thing I want to do is add extra cleaning to that schedule, too. These are my absolute favorite Procter and Gamble products from Costco that save my summers and literally take cleaning from a half an hour activity to something that can be done in 5-10 minutes.
1. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
Yes, these Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work wonders for bathrooms and kitchens, but I love them for cleaning grime off of our white walls all over the house. Do you ever find yourself wondering how different marks, food (yes, food), art projects, etc end up on the walls? I used to, and don’t even question them anymore. Just make sure to have these handy and you will be saved some extra stress!
2. Febreze Air Effects
Febreze Air Effects is my hero! As busy moms, we deal with smells all year round and are always trying to find the source. This summer, stop hunting around and just grab a pack from Costco that gives you 4 bottles (2 different fragrances) and will help rid your home of all that chlorine, bug spray, dirty smell combination that is floating around. (I also have plans to buy another pack once Baby C gets here because stinky diapers in the garbage make me crazy!)
3. Swiffer Duster Refills
Anyone else feel like they find themselves dusting a lot extra during the summer months? I think it’s a combination of having the windows open and kids home from school. Either way, Swiffer Dusters refills are amazing because they come in a huge 24 pack plus a new wand and pick up everything in one easy swoop!
How will you be surviving summer? I promise that these Procter and Gamble products from Costco will make your life easier because details matter when you are surviving summer vacation with kids!

Allison

I hate to clean so appreciate anything that helps me get it done. I run the air all summer long, I can only handle windows open during certain parts of spring and fall.

I clean to calm myself. I also hate any sign on a bad smell and when I cook or eat fresh at home my garbage smells horrible. So febreze for sure!
