It’s so fun to watch everything that your toddler learns each day and lately there’s been so much to celebrate as Blake hits these different toddler milestones and develops a personality of her own.
This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Celebrating Blake’s Toddler Milestones
Our little Blake is now 18-months-old and filled with sugar and spice of every kind. She’s beyond sweet and loves to hug and I’m pretty sure her favorite part of every day is when her brother gets off the school bus and comes to greet her in the stroller. She’s hitting so many new toddler milestones each day like being able to feed herself with a spoon or fork, bringing me things she knows I may need and even choosing her own outfit. Yes, you read that correctly – she already has opinions about what she wants to wear and when. In fact, when our most recent Carter’s delivery arrived in the mail, she pulled out her Cherry Sandals and said “oh wow!” Yup, I’m in for it.
I’m so happy to share a glimpse of our experience in toddlerhood with you all today because of my brand partner, Carter’s, and their new campaign, “With You From The Start.” Through this, Carter’s opens the doors to celebrate with parents all of these very big milestones that our littles go through, right alongside us. They are along for the ride as we go through all the emotions that these milestones bring on and you can check out a video here that will give you all the feels about the sentiment behind their message.
Blake’s toddler milestones
It almost feels like a new milestone is being hit by our little one every single day – which is amazing! I feel like I need to be watching her every second of every day, not just because she gets into everything, but because I don’t want to miss anything. I try to soak in as much as I can in between the busy that every day brings. Like I mentioned earlier, it’s really exciting to see her little personality shine through and how all of these opinions are starting to form. Lately, our biggest milestone that has been both wonderful and challenging to observe is the need to do everything herself – including picking out her outfits. She’s just like her mama and loves when a delivery comes in the mail for her so that she can relish in all the goodness that new clothes and shoes are.
We love shopping at Carter’s because they truly are there for all of these milestones and always have the perfect outfit for every outing. We love this 2-Piece Gingham Top & Jegging Set, as it’s been the perfect transitioning to spring outfit. As you know, it’s been pretty chilly here in New York City and today is even a snow day here – so pants are still a must in our life before we get to pull all the cute dresses out (but psstt I did get her this sweet Lemon Dress and Pink Jelly Sandals to put in her Easter basket).
And when it’s time for Blake to start being able to dress herself, I love that Carter’s has so many options and included pieces that she can pull over her head all by herself or shoes that aren’t that complicated so she can help me snap them on her. It’s these small moments where she learns to do things all on her own that she gets to celebrate, too, and in return builds so much self-confidence.
She’ll even be able to hail a taxi before I know it!
Until then, we’ll just stick to exploring our own neck of the woods!

It’s really the most incredible thing as a parent to watch all of these toddler milestones be hit. For me, it’s those everyday moments of growth that probably aren’t found on a list that your doctor checks off during their well baby visits – the things like discovering a butterfly for the first time or mouthing the worlds to Dora The Explorer. Those are the moments of discovery that I relish in. What are your favorite toddler milestones?

Right?! I died whenever I saw them and knew she needed them ASAP! Your niece will love them!

Oh my gosh I love those sandals! I think I need to get some for my niece. Milestones are always fun to see and yet a little bit bittersweet because then you know they’re growing up.

They are the the thing that I’m most excited for her to be able to wear this spring! Your niece will love them!

Blake is adorable!!! I love those sandals too! I was so sad when my youngest kids were too big for Carter’s. Carter’s was such a huge part of childhood and when my kids couldn’t fit into them anymore, it made me come face to face with the reality that my kids are growing up! 🙁

Awww thank you! We’re obsessed with these little sandals! I feel like same way about Carter’s! I use them year-round because of their amazing deals and rewards and dedication to parents. My older son wears a lot of Osh Kosh now and is still able to match Blake with his Christmas pajamas but this year might be the last for that. Boo hoo!

My boys have worn more than a few Carter’s outfits. We had tons of their footed pajamas and my Mom always found cute baby outfits when they were small too.

I remember so many of our kids’ milestones. They’re the greatest thing about raising kids. Just last week our teenager emptied the dishwasher without being asked! Another milestone!
