I don’t know about you all, but the back to school season gives me all the feels as a mom. And not for the obvious reasons (ahem: more free time!). There is still a part of me, even at 34-years-old that gets excited about fall fashion and getting the kids new clothes for the upcoming season. There is just something so refreshing about cleaning rooms, getting organized, and updated wardrobes!

Some of my favorite fashion finds over the years for the kids have been from brands that I found while searching through Zulily.  I have so many cute pieces over the years for Blake (think: the cutest rain boots, tees, coats, and more!) But before I get to their trend predictions for the upcoming back to school season, I want to share an epic contest they are holding that I wish was around when my fashion loving self was a kid.

To give kids even more of their own unique style to what they wear, Zulily is launching the Back-to-School #UniquelyZu Contest that will give six kids a chance to be the trend setting inspiration for an exclusive capsule collection. How cool is that?

Starting now through July 31, 2021, the contest asks that interested parents of children ages 5 – 14 post an Instagram photo on their behalf, sharing their style. 

So what’s the prize? Six inspiring designs will be chosen to win a $6,000 Back-to-School prize package, and a bonus opportunity for the winning parents and children to participate in a design session with Zulily, providing creative inspiration for an exclusive Zulily capsule collection to be launched in 2022 that will range from swimwear to Back-to-School styles.

More than ever, it’s being predicted that kids will be showing their various moods off through the clothing that they wear. Sporty. Dressy. Casual. Zuily has it all.

Kids want to feel not just confident in what they wear, but also creative and show that off through their fashion choice. This season, trend forecasters say that kids will be focusing more on custumizing their own clothes.  Seventy percent (70%) of kids say they add personal touches to articles of clothing to make them feel more distinctively special.

Retro styles are back this year, even for the little ones. Yup, mom and dad, they will be turning to you for some fashion inspo!
